Water fountain technique
To master the water fountain technique, you must first understand the normal and reversed breathing methods. The goal of this technique is to refresh your body with soothing energy before and after other techniques that elevate your body temperature.
Start by drinking a bit of water and put some water on your forehead without taking it off. Stand up with the knees lightly bent and your hands forming the meditation mudra. Keep your hands in front of your dan-tian. See figure 1 for an example posture.

Your breath will act as a pump. Figure 2 shows a stream of white energy/water in the middle of your limbs and body, to help you see the path taken by the water, but you will fill your entire body in your visualization. With each inhalation, you will get water from the earth through your feet, and with each exhalation, the water will cool down and refresh your body.
| Seven breaths will fill your body, and the breaths
afterward will keep the cycle pumping. You will pump while water of life
through your feet, to your dan-tian, up your torso. At the arms level, the
water of life will pour down your arms and flow from your hands like a little
fountain. Then, you will fill your throat, head, and pour out the top of
your head, feeling the water go down all over your body.
With the first inhalation, visualize the telluric waters of the earth get in through your feet and fill up your legs, up to youre your base chakra. When you exhale, the water stays at its current level, but spreads evenly to fill all of your legs. Feel the fresh, cool water and see the bubbly movement. With the second breath in, fill your body up to your navel chakra. As you exhale, see the white water of life turmoil gently and bubble with oxygen coming from the earth below. Your body is filled with it completely. The third breath in will fill up to your solar plexus. The fourth, up to your hearth. The fifth breath will bring the water level up to your throat and water will pour down your arms. The falling cool water will gently come out your hands, making a nice, soft pond of light. The sixth breath will fill your head, and the seventh will start pouring out the top of your head, making the water gently go down on the exterior of your body. Each breath afterwards will keep the flow continuous, up your legs, in your torso, out your arms and head. Keep your body completely filled with white water of life. Do this practice as long as your feel too hot to continue your other practices. Drink a glass of water often enough.
